Dragon Ball Grand Tour-
(The Whole Story)

When Akira Toriyama finally finished his Dragon Ball manga in May 1995, Dragon Ball Z which continued till January 31st, 1996. Is when Akira Toriyama's rendition of Dragon Ball finally stopped all together. But thankfully after Toriyama's end on the entire series, Toei's animation studios were already planning something new for all the loyal fans. And for once, without the help of Toriyama.- This new series would continue the adventures of Goku and the rest of the Z gang. They would call this new series Dragon Ball Grand Tour,- a.k.a. Dragon Ball GT. But in the end GT was never accepted or favored nearly as much or well as Toriyama's work. New arists, new voice actors(actresses), new types of battles. It's unoriginality and lack of seriousness sent the show's ratings' right down the drane. But the series' creators did the best they could trying to keep Toriyama's signature plots alive. But once or twice over doing the humorous intake that the original series had to offer.
The first of episode of DBGT aired on February 7th 1996- entitled "The Mysterious Dragon Balls!! Goku Gets Turned Into a Kid!?". Keeping the fans interested enough, in hopes of another begining to one of Goku's and his friends' adventures the enpisode starts out with a very old looking Emperor Pilaf and his two assistants, Shao and Mai. Trying one last shot at world domination by having Mai and Shao collect the 7 mystical balls. But before the show gets underweigh Pilaf discovers another set of balls called the Black Star Dragon Balls found inside Kami's shrine. Said to be more powerful, how could Pilaf resist? They had been created by Kami before he and Piccolo/Daimaou split apart from each other.
But at the same time Goku and Oob were just now finishing they're training, and emerged from the depths of Kami's shrine. Just as Pilaf had summoned Shenron but is interupted by Goku just as he was about to make his wish. Goku and him get into an arguement and forgetting that the Eternal Dragon, still waiting for a wish, is right behind him Pilaf whispers to himself,- "I wish you were a kid again so I could kick your butt!". And with the word "wish" said Shenron makes come of his "wish" and Goku tranforms back into a child. With the sights and sounds of Shenron disappearing into the sky, and the dragon balls flying out away from Kami's shrine, Pilaf
s so called 'wish' is granted and so begins a new journey. With the help of Trunks and Pan (although was supposely Goten, but Pan took his place) a new found search for the 7 balls begins. Now Trunks, Pan and 'chibi' Goku must set out all across the universe to find these new found balls.
Being more powerful than the Orange Star Dragon Balls it will take a little extra effort in finding them. An effort that is nessecery in order for life to remain on Earth, for whomever uses the Black Star Dragon Balls, whatever planet the are on will be destoryed if the Dragon Balls are not collected within one year since they were lasted used to summon Shenron.
Other plots going on in the series, I'm sure you all have heard of,- Vegeta Baby. All part of the war against the Machine Mutants, the evil Dr. My (Myu) had secretly been workig on his latest creation.-Baby. When this horrible creation finally reaches Earth, he tracks down Vegeta and posseses his body, using it as a host. A thus creates Vegeta Baby as Veget's body takes a bazaar kind of transformation.
