Author: Mariam Penam Title of chapter: The Battle part I There, twenty miles outside town, Angel stood in a battle arena, similar to the one in the Cell games. Angel stood in the middle, smirking. “I see you found your way,” she mocked. Piccolo noticed that she held her right arm behind her back. “What do you have behind your back?” he said. She took forth her hand from the behind of her back. “The soul reaver…” Raziela whispered. “What’s that?” Trunks whispered back to her. “This,” Angel said, holding it majestic in front of her. “, this is the ultimate weapon,” Raziela backed up a bit, and the fighters stood now in fighting position. “If you think I’m going to meet you all in the arena, then you’re nuts,” Angel said. “On by one… It’s more fun that way…” she said, backing up. “I’ll go first…” Raziela said, her eyes getting darker. Raziela walked up to the arena, and all of the sudden, the arena was surrounded with firewalls. “Just in case, one of you gets the feeling to help her…” she said. Raziela felt nervous, she knew Angel was weaker then her, but with the access to magic, there was no clue of the strength she had possessed. “Bring it on!” she challenged Angel. “Don’t mind if I do!” And with a blink of an eye, Raziela got hit by a right hook. She screamed out in pain and flew across the arena. Raziela jumped back on her feet and attacked. The both girls speeded up and gave each other right and left hooks, kicks at ribs, heads, chests, waists and every other spots they could find to hurt the other one at. They were seen as a light ball in the air, in middle of the arena. “C’mon Raziela! You can do it!” Trunks yelled. The light ball got split in two and each half landed across the other on the arena field. The light balls were Angel and Raziela. They were both still tired. “Now I’m gonna end this game,” Angel said, rising up on her feet. Raziela was too tired so she was still on her knees. She hadn’t noticed it before, but before the battle Angel had discharged the white/blue glowing source sword, the reaver. “It was nice knowing you!” Angel said, charged the reaver and stung Raziela by her heart. “Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!” she screamed out in pain, but soon the scream faded away, and she fell down to the ground, dead. “There,” she said, discharging the reaver. “Who’s next?” The firewalls disappeared and Trunks walked up. “I’m next,” he aid, shooting daggers with his eyes. “When are you people gonna understand, I’m immortal!” Trunks felt like he had a hole in his chest. He knew what it was, he had fallen in love with Raziela, and now she was dead. He had to take vengeance. For her. For him. And for all those people she had killed. Angel turned around, looking back a bit, smiling evilly, and just then, when she turned her head around, Trunks fired ki blasts after ki blasts. When the dust cleared, Angel was gone. “I did it..!” he said, not believing it. “I actually did it!!”*He looked around. The walls were still there. He started to blast ki balls, after another, but the walls didn’t move. “I’m not dead yet,” he heard Angel’s voice. When he turned around, he faced angel’s right hook. “As I said, not dead yet,” she said. Trunks was laid down on the ground, and Angel walked over to him and kicked him at the ribs, over and over again. He moaned a couple of times in pain, but nothing more. “Ah, a tuff guy, ei?” she said kicking him harder. The second time she was gonna kick him, he grabbed her ankle and smashed her to the ground, head first. He jumped quickly on his feet, grabbed her by the ankles and then spun her around, and then smashed her in to the ground, over and over again. He could hear how Goten was cheer loudly. He couldn’t help smiling a bit. Angel crawled up to a corner, first rubbing the back of her head, then pulling out a neck less from under her blues. “Oh, no you don’t!!” Trunks said, when he saw the neck less. He ran toward her and snatched it. “NO!!!!” she screamed when Trunks smashed the neck less under his foot. She knelt down by the broken pieces and looked up at him. “You’ll pay for that!” she hissed, standing up. “Oh, I’m really scared,” he mocked her while backing a few steps. “Mark my words, pretty boy, cause you’re going down!” she said, charging a ki ball in her hand. “Bring it on!” he challenged her, then powering up to Super Saiyan. At first she just stood there, surprised, but then she woke up to reality and charged blasts after blasts. The energy from the blasts were not strong enough to hurt him, only to toss him backwards a little. “Is that all you got?!” he yelled, shooting at her. She managed to dodge some and shot away some of the blasts, but when ever she got hit by one, she screamed out in pain. And every time she got knocked down, she got up and attacked him with blasts, kicks, punches and even some times with the reaver. Now they both were exhausted. Trunks stood across the fighting arena, breathing rather fast and Angel sat on her knees across him, gathering her power. “If you are a true Saiyan, then you will kill me, right here and right now…” she said, looking evil but sad. Every one outside the arena held their breaths. What would he do?
