Trunks lied down onto his bed, looking up at the ceiling wondering if he'd ever be able to cope with his father, let alone his life. He heard the sound of the door opening and closing to his room. "The nerve of that man!" said his mother angrely, sitting down on her son's bed, and putting a hand on his fourhead. In an attempt to comfort him she lied down beside him, turning to her side, and drying the few tears that were paused on his cheek. "It's okay baby, mommy's here..." Bulma said comfortling, moving the strands of hair from his face. Trunks only sniffled a little and closed his eyes tight, feeling comforted by his mother's words, and just to be at her side. But he still couldn't help but feel like crying, he wanted to cry, he wanted to lie down there and never have to get up. Trunks truned around to his side, he looked up at his mother, laying there, smiling at him. Or at least trying to, he began to slowly stugle to get closer to his mom, until he was laying close enough to give her the biggest hug he knew how. And he did... And then a thought struck him, why couldn't he be like Goten? And that wasn't the first time he had envied Goten, He had a father that cared so much about him, and would be willing to do anything for him. Trunks had a father that wouldn't even bother saying hello to his son, let alone try and be nice to him. Instead he'd give him a dirty look, and stand in a position like he was about to punch his face in or some thing. Goten had nothing to worry about, while Trunks had every reason in the world to worry, why couldn't I be more like Goten? Trunks wondered... I wish I were Goten...
Trunks began to hug Bulma tighter, and burried his face in her chest, so she wouldn't see all the tears streaming down the sides of his cheeks.
"Trunks?" mummled Bulma, before motioning to get up. "I think that we need to get ice on the eye, and bandage that arm up..." Bulma began, concerned.
Trunks didn't reply he only nodded his head, barely enough for Bulma to tell he even moved. But she saw. "Okay.." he snifled, and slowly began to let go of his mother... slowly. Until finally Bulma was able to sit up, and get off the bed. Into the bathroom, she went quickly and about ten seconds later came out with a damp wash-cloth in her hand, and about twenty bandaids in the other. She kneeled down beside him, he was still laying on the bed, looking up at the lamp that hang down from the ceiling looking into the bright rays of light coming from it. He quickly blinked and turned his head else where looking studying the room.
"Turn your head toward me Trunks." She said softly, as she pressed the damp cloth to his eye. "Hold this," she muttered, and she reached down to the side of her leg to grap a hand full of the bandaids she had brought out.
"Sorry sweety, I used up all the bandage on your father, two weeks ago. I forgot to get more..."
Trunks didn't respond to his mother's excuse, he only rolled his eyes and began to remove the the damp cloth from his eye. Looking up at it, all he could see now, was a big blood stain. Witch was now the only thing the cloth was damp with now.
"No, no!" Bulma exclaimed in concern. "Keep it on your eye!" She ordered, not yelling but strick enough so that he would listen. And respond to her suden out-burst and put the cloth back on his eye, within two seconds. Witch he did.
About ten minutes later, Bulma had gotten all the bandaids to stick on the open wound, on his arm. "There!" Bulma said, with relief. "Now for your leg!" She said determaned, as she got up again and headed back into the bath room to search for more bandaids.
Trunks looked down at his arm, and realised that he now looked like some kind of freak, at least his arm. Or as Goten would put it... "Bandaid-boy". He looked over to the bath room, there was no site of his mother but he could still hear her opening and closing droors and cabinits looking for banages for his leg. And since she wasn't in the room at the momment, he removed the wash-cloth a second time to study how much blood it had obsorbed from his face alone.
"Whoah!" Trunks whispered, looking at the cloth drenched in blood. Trunks heard the sound of the door nob turning and quickly put the cloth back on his eye, as the door began to open he could hear his mother's rantings about they're being no bandaids because of Vegeta.
"Well I guess I'll just have to run to the store and get some bandages..." Bulma said, not meening talk directly to Trunks more of thinking out loud. But Trunks heard her and jumped in on her thinking out loud.
"You can't leave my here all alone!" He protested against the idea of being alone with his father.
"Ohh, Trunks.." Bulma began but before she could finish her sentance she was interrupted.
*ring*`*ring*`*ring* "Oh!" Bulma exclaimed heading out the bed room door and making her way quickly down the hall.
"Hello?" Bulma answered the phone.
"Yes may I speak to....Mrs. Briefs? Please.." requested a gruff female voice.
"This is she." Responded Bulma Curusly,
"Uhh.. Mrs. Briefs, this is doctor Cotal I'm calling about your check up two days ago.
"Yes? What about?" Bulma questioned not even bothering to, try and sound happy to the phone call.
"Why me?" This is what kept repeating it's self in Trunks's mind over and over again. He rolled over to the other side of his bed and reached down to grab his phone. Since he had his own phone line in his room picking up the phone couldn't mess up his mother's call, he stared at the phone for a brief momment and then slowly began to sit up, fixing a pillow in back of him. After he finished putting the pillow in back of himself he began to stare at the numbers on the phone, pin pointing Goten's phone number on the phone with his eyes.

"Mom! Why do I have to go to bed right now?!" Whined an ardent, meager voice.
"Gohan gets to stay up til ten thirty!" Complained the voice again.
"Hush Goten! I'm on the phone..." Exclaimed ChiChi angryly, "I'm sorry, go ahead." commented ChiChi to the person on the other line.
"So does that mean I get to stay up longer?" questioned Goten inocently.
"oh yeah I agree," ChiChi continued talking into the phone. "NO GOTEN! Get to bed!" Ordered ChiChi, pointing into Goten's bed room, the door was wide open so see was pointing directily into his bedroom.
Goten was about to open his mouth again to protest about his curfew. But just then ChiChi through an evil glare toward him, and stuck his finger out in the air pointing to his lips. Meaning to say, (one more word, and regret the day you were born)
Goten glared at his mother, and grinded his teeth with his mouth closed. Heading toward his room, he could here his brother's and Videl's voices talking from the room. He slowly aproached the door, and put his ear to the side of the wall closest to the door, he could hear every thing they were saying from that momment on.
"So that would meen the answer is....27?" Answered Videl, questioning her own answer.
"No, no Videl! 32 is equal to 8, the answer would be 67..." Corrected Gohan, earasing Videl's answer from the home work sheet. "With a remainder of 2.." Added Videl, covering up her mistake, with a quickly answered detail that Gohan left out.
"3.." corrected Gohan cockely, staring at Videl and trying not to laugh.
"Oh shut up! Who cares about math anyway?! It's a stupid subject..." Yelled Videl, pounding her fist down onto the math book, and the letting her head slowly fall limp onto the desk. Burring her face in the math book.
"No it's not Videl! You just have to try a little harder at it, that's all." Gohan said, confidently. "That's all you've been saying to me, every time I think about giving up! And every time I just end up trying it again anyway!" Videl began, trying to make up an excuse for her self to try again. Knowing that Gohan would come up with some kind of come-back to her comment.
"So why bother even saying that, if you know you'er only going end up trying again?" Questioned Gohan, feeling proud of his senceable words of wisdom.
Videl only stared at him not in the slightest bit amazed or surprised of him responce. Seeing that she already knew that was coming. A minute passed by and no one spoke a word. Gohan had been waiting for her to respond, and Videl wasn't about to talk any time soon. She would only smile, look deeply into his eyes, and stare at him like she was reading his mind. Gohan seeing Videl's smiling face, only lead to blushing as he was doing, finally Gohan spoke up.
"Videl?" Two seconds passed by, but it seemed as if it were two minutes before Videl was able to react to Gohan's sudden out burst, and break out of her daze. Her body quickly jerked, as she focused back on Gohan's talking, rather than his deep black eyes.
"yes..?" Videl mummbled softly.
Gohan, hearing Videl's sweet sound voice, started into what seemed like a very long daze. Only half a minute had passed though, as Gohan continued to lose him-self in Videl's deep blue eyes. Videl raised an eye-brow as she was still waiting for Gohan's responce, but she had come to the conclusion that Gohan wasn't about to say anything any time soon.
"Gohan?" Videl exclaimed, trying to bring him back into orbit from his daze.
Gohan leaving planet Videl, and returning to earth quickly responded as the back of his head jerked up. His attention focused back on Videl, as she stared at him he realized that he was about to ask her something right before he went off into another world. Thinking back on what he was going to say to her, he couldn't remember but he had to think of something quickly, as of the fact that Videl was waiting for him to ask his question. Videl was now becoming annoyed, something Gohan had already noticed but then a thought struck him, he remembered what he was going to ask her,
"Videl?" Gohan began,
"Yes Gohan?!" Videl exclaimed impatiently.
"Would you like to move on the Decimals, or Factions next?" Said Gohan almost sounding as if he were mocking her. At least that's how Videl took what he said.
"You Baka!" She screamed, as she knocked the math book off the table, it went flying straight into the fish tank, and pushed over the chair as she quickly jumped up out of it. And started toward the door.
Gohan only watched wide eye'd as Videl began to stomp angrily out the door.
"Well I'll call you back tomorrow with those recipe codes." ChiChi spoke into the phone, before she said "Bye..".
ChiChi stared over at the dishes that were piled up in the sink, "uuuuuuuhhhh...... I'm to tired to do dishes!" She moaned under her breath, and was about to head into the laundry room and get a towel out. Intending to take a bubble bath, when said heard a big thump coming from the hall way. She quickly turned her attention toward the sound, and made her way quickly down the hall. Only to find Goten rubbing the side of his head and moaning *oww*.
"Goten Son!" ChiChi exclaimed angrily, placing her hands on her hips as she always did when she got mad.
[10:36|pm|...(location) Capsule Corpiration]
Bulma now sitting down on the couch, her eyes shut tight. Not knowing what to think or what she was feeling. She was in shock, she was confused, and unsure, unsure of anything. Now that is. How could this be? She thought to herself as a few tears formed behind her closed up eyelids and began to slowly make their way down the side of her face.
But just then she heard the sound of a door slamming, which sounded like it came from her bed room. It caught her attention for a brief momment, but didn't faze her enough to wonder what the noise was. Around ten minutes later Bulma had fallen half asleep.
Just then another loud thump came from down the hall, Bulma's eyes quickly jerked open as she was waking up and gasped under her breath as if she had just woken up from a nightmare. But she hadn't had a dream during the time she was sleeping, or didn't remember having one anyway.
She heard the sound a third time, this time louder than ever and it was quite clear as to where the noise was coming from. "What is it?!" thought Bulma, now she was begining to let her curiosity get the best of her. She slowly lifted her self up and put both feet on the floor, slowly begining to get up. She began to make her way slowly downing the hall, hearing the sound a fouth time making her leap in fright, but kept her self from screaming. Now she was sure of it the noise was coming from her bed room, she slowly began to approach her door. The closer she came the louder the noise became, she stood in front of her door hearing the sound of the door slamming but at the same time was standing in front of her bed room door, and the door wasn't moving. "The bathroom?" she suggested to her self.
Her hand slowly and carfully grasped the door's handle she paused for a momment to think about what could be behind the door... it couldn't be Vegeta he had left the house hours ago, right after she hung up the phone she saw him leave...
"VEGETA!" exclaimed Bulma as she hung up the phone.
"What." Vegeta snorted.
"And just where do you think your going?!" Bulma questioned cockaly.
"That's none of your concern!" Yelled Vegeta.
"Yes, I believe that it is..." Snapped Bulma raising one eyebrow.
"Why don't you go finish kissing your little brat's "boo-boo's"?! Mocked Vegeta.
"I wouldn't have to kiss our little brat's "boo-boo's" if it weren't for a stupid, idiot, dence-weekling-sayian-prince who doesn't know when to shut up!!!" Screamed Bulma raising the levle of volume with each and every word until the point where she screamed at the top of her lungs the words "Shut up".
"You dare to insult the SAIYAN RACE!? Woman!" Screamed Vegeta.
"I have a name!" Hissed Bulma.
"No kidding..." Said Vegeta, using her own words to his advantage to make a joke.
"At least my name didn't come from the word Vegetable!" Mocked Bulma.
"And at least I wasn't named after a pear of woman's underwear!"
"At least I don't find pleasure in beating my children!" Screamed Bulma.
"At least I don't find pleasure in naming my children after under-clothing!" Yelled Vegeta.
